During the pandemic our page provided updates on what the restrictions set out by the Government meant for walking and Blackburn Rambling Association activities. We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep this page up to date. There are currently no legal restrictions in place that affect walking with no legal limit on the number of participants.

  • When you are out on a walk:   Have fun, keep safe and be considerate to fellow walkers and always follow the Countryside code.
 

  • Walking with family & friends: Groups can get together for informal walks, for informal walks.

  • Ramblers group walks: can take place in groups of any size but please check with our group regarding booking – please check with your local group. Car-sharing and coach rambles can resume. Some people however may prefer to maintain physical distancing, not to share transport or attend indoor events.

  • Path maintenance: maintenance can take place – please check with our local group

  • Other Ramblers activities: can take place – please check with our local group. We are still being asked to hold events, training and committee meetings outdoors or online where possible.
